Our facilities house electronic remediation equipment, including the Ameri-Shred AMS-1000HD-SSD—a state-of-the-art shredder which is enclosed by tamper-proof steel wire caging. Our facility also features keyed access, full-time video surveillance at the main entrance, and full-time video surveillance inside the area to monitor all activities that take place while handling data devices.

Teraware Data Sanitization Platform
Iron Mountain’s Teraware is a platform-based tool designed for the secure disposition of storage components from production use. It provides a fully deployable, self-contained operating environment that performs asset discovery, sanitization, and report generation.
Teraware is verified and trusted by data centers, hyperscalers, and Fortune 100 companies. The platform is compliant with NIST 800-88 Rev.1 and 2, and IEEE 2883-2022 guidelines for media sanitization regarding media types, chain of custody, methods of destruction, and reporting. Teraware has also been certified “Product Claims Tested” by ADISA, verifying its ability to destroy data, rendering it unrecoverable, on multiple types of SSDs and HDDs (incl. SATA-HDD, SAS-HDD, SATA-SSD, SAS-SSD, FC-SSD, and NVMe-SSD). No audit or forensic analysis has ever found any data on any electromagnetic or flash storage device that has been processed by Teraware.
